Norwood Park
Norwood Park is situated on one of the highest points in Lambeth and offers some amazing views across South London. Norwood Park was originally part of a larger area of open land called ‘Norwood Common’, which also belonged to an extensive network of heavily wooded areas of land known as the ‘Great North Wood’. In the 19th century Norwood Common was gradually enclosed and sold off for development, but part of it was saved and converted into a public park.
