Lambeth has been hosting events since 1785, where outdoor musical events were held in our parks, such as Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and Clapham Common. These events have all helped to shape our history and communities. They are crucial to our identity and create memorable experiences for everyone who lives, works and visits Lambeth. And of course, Lambeth is home to the the highlight in south London’s social calendar, Lambeth Country Show. Since 1974, the show has provided a great weekend of entertainment, celebrating the very best of the city and countryside and it is now one of the biggest free family festivals in the UK.
