Big Caribbean Lunch

The Big Caribbean Lunch returns to Windrush Square for its fourth year, bringing the community together for a vibrant day of Caribbean food, music, culture and celebration in the heart of Brixton.

Rooted in honouring the legacy of the Windrush Generation, the event celebrates the rich contribution of Caribbean communities to British life and culture through live entertainment, storytelling, market stalls, family activities and shared experiences.

 A special part of the day is providing a complimentary Caribbean meal for Windrush Elders aged 75 and over, recognising and celebrating their invaluable contribution, resilience and legacy.

 From traditional Caribbean flavours and sound systems to arts, heritage and community connection, the Big Caribbean Lunch is a joyful celebration of culture, unity and pride for all generations.

The event will start at 12:00 to finish at 19:00.
